Animation on the beat of a song. How to do?

Hi ya'll, Well i have been playing with daz for over 2 years now and think im ready to be doing some animation Would be in 720P though as i wanna keer the render times under 2 min. Right now is 1.14m with a dressed g8 female and not all to complex hair. So 4k which is now about an hour or 2 depend on the complexity of the scene is out of the question and so is 1080P. Takes 5 min to render with only a model. So here is the question. How can i create animation that moves on the beat of the song (any song). What is the trick? Or is external software better? But if sticking with daz i would love to know how to do this

Go to edit/audio, import the soundfile, it will playback in the timeline...start animating:) Unfortunately you won't see the waveform within DS, so that makes things a bit tricky, with a bit of trial and error you'll eventually get the hang of it. Another downside, the soundfile will be added to your rendered movie, but it will always start from the beginning even if you set the animation range to say 100-3000. So the soundtrack can be used as a guideline when animating, but for the final edit you'll probably have to edit stuff in a video editor, unless you do the whole song as one scene.(and one render session)
