Hot Promotions page

The hot promotions page seems to be having problems displaying. I'm using IE 9.

    Same thing here - top two promotions totally blank! Luckily I have Google Chrome installed on my laptop too, and it displays just fine there. Don't know why this is happening (just happened for me since yesterday) maybe a Java thing? Or an IE9 thing? Well, IE9 is pretty old now, I gather IE11 is out.

    The (IMO) needlessly all-singing-all-dancing promo graphics just got a bit more needlessly a bit more all-singing-all-dancing. Maybe it's now past the point where some people with less powerful computers are finding it's a bit too much?

    It seems to be set up so that the pictures don't actually load until you're looking at the page. Certain browsers don't provide the expected "looking at page" signal, so the pictures never load. Looks like a classic example of Bad Design by someone who loves their newly discovered features.
