"Filter by Content" messed up?

Hello,
I finally managed to edit the metadata of Generation 4 items with the help of some nice tutorial.
Now i assigned "compatibility" to my Gen. 4 Items to the certain core-Figures, as Victoria 4, Michael 4, Kids 4, and everything seemed to work fine, so now i'm able to select a Kids 4 figure, switch on "filter by context", and i can see all my kids 4 related stuff.
But somehow I've messed this up, and now, when i select a Kids 4 Figure with "filter by context" switched on, i see EVERYTHING BUT the kids 4 content.
Means, i see everything that is available with the current filter and categories settings, but without any of the Kids 4 content.
It only happened with the Kids 4. Selecting M4, V4 od A4 works as expected.
I don't have any clue what I've messed up?
Any suggestions anyone?

If you go into the Content DB Editor what are the compatibility/compatibility base settings for the Kids 4 figure?
I have them all set to Generation4/The Kids 4.
I also already tried to remove this assignment, and another try with only the "The Kids 4" item itself beeing assigned to compatibility with "the Kids 4", as is with many figures i jave checked.
Then i suspected this "declared as" Line, and i have "Declared" The Kids 4 as "/Generation4/The Kids 4".
Nothing of this changed this strange behaviour.
I get confused, but I thought you had to have a File Type specified for things to show in Smart Content.
Okay, checked again:
What is the "compatibility Base"?
On the first Tab of Content DB Editor there is a compatibility Base in the Scene IDs Section.
With a Michael 4 selected, it says /Generation4/Michael 4.
With a Kids 4 selected, nothing shows up there.
If you mean the FIle Type in the Assets Tab, i have lots of wardrobe items correctly showing up assigned to Victroia 4 in Smart Content without anything in File Type.
Some do have some items with File Type, but some don't.
The Kids 4 has to be set as a compatibility base in order for other things to be compatible with it, as I understand the system.
So the "compatibility" setting in the Asstets Tab isn't the compatibility base we are talking about?
The "compatibility" setting already IS set to the kids 4, also the "declared as" setting.
Where else can i define this "compatibility base"?
Found it here
http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/interface/action/index/dzsetdefaultcompatibilitybasesaction/start
Menu Edit > Object > Set Default Compatibility Bases
Works !
Maybe this should be available to be set in the Metadata Editor.
