Do I have to download items before they disappear?

What happens to products which disappear from the shop? Do I have still access to them, once I bought them?
Or do I have to download asap and store them away, even If I don't use them immediately?
Thank you!

If you bought them, they will stay in your available downloads.
Having said that, you should still keep backing up your files, including the DIM downloads in your Install Manager folder. (In Windows 10, that's probably: This PC/Local Disc/Users/Public/Public Documents/Daz 3D/Install Manager/Downloads )
Thank you very much! That's good news, and an important reminder!
A year ago a power surge burned out several parts of my computer, including my main hard drive, and I hadn't backed up in months. It took me almost two months to repair the PC then reload all my softwear. So I bought a decent backup system (2x6Tb in RAID 0) AND an uninterruptable power supply, because time is more valuable than money - you can always find money, but you can't replace even one lost second, right?
The only problem with that is that I could buy a lot more stuff at the price of that RAID system :(
I usually don't backup cloud stuff, while I do that with my organized freebies.
Regarding the files I need for my stories, I have multiple backups, included some cloud ones, because I couldn't recreate that exact character again if I wanted to, but those are just some Gigabytes
Oh, I'm sorry about that. Yes, time isn't replaceable, and I can easily picture myself agonizing over vast losses of stuff. At least you're now set with a fortress of a system!
I have the reverse approach. That is, I keep all my data in backup disks and only load in the ssd what I need for the current project. This also helps a lot to speed up loading times and to avoid conflicts among assets.
