That often hgappens if DS thinks a product was installed via Connect but only the DIM install is present. If you find Genesis 8 Starter Essentials in the Products tab of Smart Content what, if any, icon is at top-right of the thumbnail?

The icon is there for both the female and the male but when I click on them I get the same message that the duff file is gone it says it does not exist, and I found it in smart content under figures

Not on the files, on the Product's icon (Genesis 8 Starter Essentials) in the Products tab of Smart Content.

Well, that's very odd - you are seeing all content, installed and otherwise, there so you shoudl be seeing all of the Starter Essentials sets if DS has ever been allowed to connect to Daz. If you are installing via Install Manager only then it looks as if the Genesis 3 Starter Essentials are the only ones properly installed.

I'm not sure I understand but I did install the genesis 8 starter essentials with the install manager and I do connect to Daz when I start the program, I have uninstalled the essentials and then reinstalled

them again and they still do not show up but the Duf file and the two icons are in there.

    1. If DS is connected, disconnect - Connect>Work Offline.
    2. Find the entry for Genesis 8 Starter Essentials in the Products list in the Content Library
    3. Right-click on the container (the entry in the folder/category/product list) and select Delete
    4. Connect>Log-in and let it update metadata
    5. Does it now show the Genesis 8 Starter Essentials in the products tab of Smart Content in the All Install Stae Filter?
