DS 4.6.1.33 doesn't load custom actions?

Hi gang,

The weirdest thing.. I made and shared a custom layout for Daz Studio. One of the specific changes which I've applied is setting a custom keyboard shortcut for the spot render viewport tool. Instead of the default alt-shift-c I'm using control-alt-r.

However, when I restarted Daz Studio earlier this evening I noticed that the custom action has reset itself back to alt-shift-c. Even though DS clearly states that it's using my custom layout (when I press F3 I clearly get to see "Catslair Boulevard" which is my custom layout. But if I then expand "viewport tools" it shows alt-shift-c).

So to rule out the obvious; I press F3, chose the "Import" option, select the Actions filetype and then import this file:

C:\Users\Peter\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\Studio4\user layouts\actions\Catslair Boulevard.dsx

As a result the keyboard shortcut for the spot render viewport tool is now set to control-alt-r. So it's obviously not a problem in my custom layout.

It seems to me as if DS4 is loading my custom layout, but totally ignoring the customized actions. Has anyone experienced something like this?

I'd like to make sure it's not something I'm overlooking before creating a support ticket.

In the mean time I think I've been able to prove my point..

As demonstrated above the actions file contained in my layout specifically sets this keyboard shortcut. But if I start DS4, then change the keyboard shortcut myself (from alt-shift-c to control-alt-r) and then use the Window -> Workspace -> Select layout option and re-load my custom layout then the keyboard shortcut immediately changes back to the default. Despite it being set in my layout file (as seen above).

I think it's safe enough to file a support ticket, this really looks like a bug to me.

I am having the same issue. Did you ever resolve this?

To be honest the customization options in this are great but buggy.

I have same problem to customize short-cut for actions

I hope to change each CCT tools shorut cut,
and serch them in view port tools Action, and change them.

apply and confirm, then save layout again.

but next time I launch daz stadio, the changed short cut turn-default.

I tried to export and re-import , in customize window too.
(but when I import it, the short cut modification has gone away)

Can we really customize short cut for each action(tools)
then save and auto load? or it only work untill we shut down the ds?
