Cutting off all the material settings at once

I have a question.

Are there any ways to cut off all the material settings at once from a model such as a figure, cloth, hair and a prop?

Cutting off textures, bump maps and something similar. Moreover, I would like to delete all of the subsurface material settings.

Just a simple solid surface with nothing fancy settings, that's all I need.

Right now, I've been doing that manually one by one. Since I don't know well about the complicated subsurface settings, I am leaving it as it is so far though...

Is this possible?

The easiest way would be to have or create a “basic” shader preset that you could then apply to all surfaces.

If you use Iray you might be interested by this product, which provides “resources saving” shader presets and scripts: https://www.daz3d.com/resource-saver-shaders-collection-for-iray

Yes, like Leana said I use that product too.

I have set 5 shortcuts, then I select all the surfaces and I click them, and all those settings disappear.

Scene optimizer (https://www.daz3d.com/scene-optimizer) does a similar thing.

I don't care if you watch it or not, I've just made those videos to help, but here's one I made showing this process xD

Maybe you could try loading a primitive cube or sphere, check that it's surface settings are "vanilla" enough for you, then with the primitive selected in the scene and the surface selected in the Surfaces tab go to File - Save As - Shader Preset and give it a suitable name, you can then select your object(s) and all their surfaces (in one go) and apply that vanilla shader preset to them.

That could be a good way to create a basic shader preset, yes.

Wow, great!! I didn't know that's so easy!
    I really appreciate!
