Proper export settings for 3DS Max

Hi all,

I'm trying to convert an object from .max into a format that Daz can use. I keep getting an empty workspace in the place where the object should be. When I hover over it with the mouse pointer I can see a yellow selection outline of the object, but it's never actually visible. I also cannot make it visible by applying shaders. These are the settings I can choose from when exporting to .obj (see attachment):
What am I doing wrong?
