Genesis question

I'm a little behind the times, but thanks to last month I'm finally going to give working with Genesis a try. I thought I'd read that there was a way to use morphs from the Gen4 figures on Genesis, like you can do with the skins, but now that I'm actually looking for that information I can't find anything. Is it actually possible to do this?

search the store and forums for gen x..
For transferring morphs from V4 to Genesis 1 you could use:

I really like it and it's easy to use. There are also several forum topics about doing this from DAZ Studio with clones etc. But never really looked in to that myself.
Yikes! Well, there's no way I can afford that - especially since it only addresses a fraction of the Gen4 figures. Is there any other way? I had hopes of converting a figure I'd set up on K4 with a couple V4 morphs over to Genesis (some of the K4 clothing just won't work for a character that's an early teen).
Besides the Generation X plugin, you would need to purchase the M4 and V4 shapes for Genesis
http://www.daz3d.com/v4-and-m4-shapes-for-genesis
GenX also has add ons for Gen 3
http://www.daz3d.com/genx-addon-gen3-bundle
However this also requires the various gen 3 shapes for Genesis which can be purchased separately or in the iconic bundle.
If you check through the forums there are posts on how to use the various tools in DS to transfer morphs but you still need to have the various shapes for Genesis to do this. The biggest problem is that there is no shape for the K4. Autofit does have a K4 clone but the results using the K4 clone don't always come out the same as the K4 figure they are from.
Here's the link to Kattey's tutorial on transfering morphs from Genesis to G2F.

Yes it's different figures but it will give you an idea of what tools and how to do it.
So, basically, because I need K4 the short answer would be no, I can't do what I was hoping?
