    Whoa! Thanks, Jared!

Edit: Note to everyone. Search for Genesis 2 Starter Essentials, not Genesis 2 Male.

Woohoo. I guess we'll finally find out of Genesis 2 is REALLY a Genesis figure (ie. clothes and morphs are cross compatible) or if it's just V6 and M6. C'mon DOWNLOAD!

Hum, interesting. I see updates for G2F Starter Essentials in the queue but nothing for G2M.

Just lag in the publishing pipeline, maybe?

Edit: N/M, just saw Wheelman's post.

I see Genesis 2 in my product library too. I searched for Genesis 2 starter essentials.

The question I now have is about the head and body morphs I bought when G2 first came out, will they work properly on the male?

What the heck!!!! I just downloaded the G2F update and the G2M through DIM and it downloaded and installed but when I boot DAZ none of the Genesis 2 figures are in the content library. Anyone else having this problem?

They both worked fine for me.

I found the figures in the content library but the figures and their clothing are no longer in Smart Content. Do I have to go through and manually re add them all? Why would they do this?

Did you install while DAZ Studio was running? Try reimporting the metadata from Content Library Maintenance.

    No, Daz wasn't running.

Grrr... dammit, I just knew this was going to be messed up somehow. These things always are.

Nope. Reimporting metadata does not work. G2F and G2M will not show up in the smart content.

Do you see anything in Smart Content? If not see if your CMS is running

Okay. Fixed it. I physically turned off Daz's Content management and then turned it back on again and now they're all showing up the way they're supposed to. Weird bug but all's well that ends well.

Generally speaking, good stuff - it's the same-old-same-old when it comes to AutoFit, but even so there's tons of outfits that will fit no problem

...hmm all I received via the DIM today was a Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials update, not the Genesis 2 Starter Essentials. Had to go to the Content Library Page to get the Male Starter Essentials.

    Update.

    OK that worked,

Cowabunga! He comes with Surfin' gear too.

I'm confused by why the Phillip materials that come with G2M are categorized as materials for M5. Why aren't they categorized as being for Genesis 2 Male? The materials that came with G2F are categorized as being for Genesis 2 Female.

well that was confusing. Saw there was an update for Gen 2 female in the Dim and the readme said "gen 2 male added". If I hadn't seen someone's post here that you ahve to actually search for "genesis 2 male", i woulnd't have realized he's a separate dwonload.

I don't have him installed yet. Can someone verify if the hands are the same position as G2 Female? Genesis 01 had the hands slightly clawed but the G2 Female is straight out. Also wondering how badly the Bruno for Gen 2 Female looks on the Gen 2 Male.

    I can verify that.
Here is a picture, default G2M (back) and default G2F (front), zero pose for both.

    Thanks Kattey.

You have Bruno for Gen 2 Female? If so could you apply a few of the full body morphs? I know I had to compensate for the breasts for that area so wondering just how badly it looks.

Okie, there are some results. Because mesh for G2M and G2F is the same, I didn't use Transfer Utility but straight export-import. First time I did it as it is, second time I used G2F clone to deduct G2F shape from imported morph via reverse deformation.
    This is all G2M.
First picture is Chunky 2, I believe, second should be Bruno Muscle 3, third should be Female Shape 2 or 3. On the left is straight import through Morph Loader Pro, on the right is import via reverse deformation/deduction of G2F from the morph, again through Morph Loader Pro. I'm not entirely sure which result you'd like to see at the end so if I've missed anything, tell me what sort of transfer you'd like to check.
