Install Manager Says It Is Installed...

I recently bought Lanthe Hair for Genesis 2 Females. The purchase says it is compatible with Genesis and Genesis 2 Female.

The Install Manager says both the Genesis and Genesis 2 Female versions are downloaded and installed. However when I open DAZ Studio, only the Genesis version appears in "Smart Content."

How can I find the Genesis 2 version?

Easiest way is to use the content library tab. Either find it in the Window pulldown menu (check the 'Panes (tabs)' option) or look for it in your environment.

Once there you should be able to simply search for "Lanthe" or something, then these entries should appear.

If not then you may need to find this stuff manually, most likely you're looking for:

DAZ Studio Formats -> DAZ 3D Library -> People -> Genesis 2 Female -> Hair

It should in there somewhere.

This is also a perfect way to dig through your library for other stuff, because not all your contents will show up in the smart content tab. Also; sometimes it's not as smart as it thinks. Like in your example; when it doesn't list everything.

That works. I can grab it from the Content Library tab. Thanks.

However it still doesn't show up in the Smart Content area.

Do you have G2F selected?

Yes. I do. I select Genesis2 Female and the lanthe hair is absent from my choices. Going to content library and digging the lanthe hair out there works. Additionally. Unselecting G2F allows the regular Genesis version to be an option, which I can merge into the scene. However that isn't an ideal method.

I am content to use the Content Library. It seems to be the more reliable means to use content.
