I decided on the Pro Bundle, "Michael 4 for Genesis 2 Male" by Slosh and "Michael 4 Skins Auto Converter For Genesis 2 Male(s)" by DraagonStorm

Looking forward to Jepe's, Male-M3dia and Cake One's offerings as well as most of the rest of the offerings. Trust me I like just about everything.

The Pro Bundle with the other two packs comes to 102 and with only a 10% with my lack of participation these past couple of months it's still a good enough deal for me. My credit card will be smoking hot but it's OK. So is Michael 6!

Looks like an excellent bundle. Just about everything in it looks like something that would get used. Can't say that for any of the girls' bundles.

I suppose the texture sets will pop up in a day or two.

Although i hope the head/body morph packs make an appearance rather more quickly than that. Like NOW.

This has been the hottest male figure item to draw me back to DAZ3D in 5 years.

Yes, I agree, the morphs SHOULD have been ready for prime time this go around and not the second or third tier of the M6 releases.....

Nice to see you ibr, been a while!

I like him, and I like his 'luggage' as well. Glad that someone finally made a set of uniforms. Only thing I lack is a pair of jeans and a suite'n'tie thing for the businessman, then again, I imagine I can autofit some of G1's things.

    Me happy :-)

StreetWear's got a great pair of jeans for Genesis 1. There's a preview of a really nice business suit over in the member thread. No idea when It will get released though.

Unless you want everything in the bundles, it's cheaper to get the base figure and just add the outfits and hair you want. The pricing on this seems really weird.

hi just bought the michael 6 basic package and ran into problem installed all okay then opened up the figure and its asking for a file named: data/daz3d/genesis2/genesis2male.dsf

does anybody know what this file is and what it wasn't on the install?

If you use Download Install Manager, there should be a new file to download.

From the Michael 6 product page:
"Please install the provided Genesis 2 Male Starter Essentials"

Gosh why am I not surprized?

edit: So BOTH Brandon AND Logan rely on morphs that aren't in the bundle (again!) and aren't even available AT THIS TIME!

    not a happy puppy....

    M6 Starter

Separate products before discount - about $118
    Bundle cost - 100

that only gives a savings of $18 or a 15% discount of bundle vs separate. I didn't do the math on the Pro bundle but I am sure it is similar.

A little surprised that M6 Pro bundle about 33% higher than the V6 Pro bundle and it has fewer items. The extra price($40 well $20 or so with the intro discount) makes M6 Pro go from a sure buy to I am going have to seriously think about what I truly need

I'm hoping Daz changes the price to the same as G2F or at least comment on it.

They just did and from what I understand, it's the correct price.

ye, but Richard isn't part of DAZ, he is an administrator, but not anything more (sorry Richard, we still love you ;P) and he doesn't really say that the price is correct or not, just asking us to not think the sudden raise in price is due to our mega price coupons :) so no, nothing officially have been said yet

Yes, my post was asking people to cool the speculation - I have no idea whether the price is right or wrong.

It was officially a store pricing mistake.
    http://www.daz3d.com/forums/viewreply/484271/
Direct explanation quoted here for convenience.

The $180 price tag on the M6 Pro Bundle and whatever the price tag on the Starter Bundle were mistakes. The prices were supposed to be comparable to the V6 Pro and Starter Bundles. If you check the product pages you will see that the price has been lowered to reflect that.

We will automatically be adding store credit to those who over payed for either of the bundles.

Also, the morphs required for the characters in the M6 Pro and Starter Bundles should be released within an hour.

Looks like I'll get some money added to my store credit area then. I went ahead and jumped the gun. I can't say no to a hottie like M6.

As for the morphs, yea, if there are packages that were released that made use of those and DAZ is holding them back for one of the later release nights...... just don't think that was very smart of them!

The morphs are available, but wait on buying them. Shortly there will be a deal where you can buy the head and body together and save a few bucks.

The head morphs for both Brandon and Logan are custom and should work just fine without the morph bundle. The file calls you are getting are for the body shapes and some pupil/iris sizing which is not really required to use their morphs just fine tuning/tweaking we did to customize the look more. Sorry for any confusion on that :)
