Problem with Daz Studio public Beta Iray

I installed Daz Studio 4.11 public beta update via DIM, I wanted to set up a scene in Iray preview and the only thing it shows is my character in the clay colour and no HDRI shows. I have no problem with 4.10 at all. I wonder if there is a setting that I am not aware of.

I uninstalled Daz 4.11 public build beta update vial DIM and when I wanted to reinstall it just now, it is not listed in DIM anymore.

If you deleted the package after install it should be in ready to Download, if not (the default) it should be in Ready to Install.

If your machne has both an Intel GPU on the CPU and a stand-alone GPU from AMD or nVidia then you need to make sure that the beta is set to use the stand-alone - being a separate application it won't necessarily get the same settings as the release build. Also note that the betas require a more recent earliest driver version - 418.something - than the release builds for Iray.

I have an Nvidia card and the latest driver.

Problem is, Daz Studio 4.11 public beta is not in my DIM anymore. I looked and looked and looked again.

I can not find and I really looked.:(

As you can see in the screenshot, only those 3 public betas for 4.11 are in DIM.

I didn't have it either. Also had to download the ZIP. Not sure what's happening.

You’re not supposed to have manual download option  for betas, only DIM, as it needs to be installed in a specific way to have different settings, temp directory and so on so that it doesn’t “pollute” the general release if it’s also installed.

I wish Daz 4.11 public build was in my DIM, but it has vanished.

I installed it yesterday but had problems with it, so I uninstalled it to see if it was a glitch , when I wanted to reinstall it, it had vanished from DIM.

Do you have DIM set to delete the packages once installed?

Then you should still have the zip - try working offline and see if it then appears in the Ready to Install tab.

    I tried this already.

I have filed a ticket with tech. support and they are looking into it :)

Thank you very much for your help, and thank you to everyone who responded.

Tech support sorted it out and now I can install DS 4.11 public beta.
