GP-You

Hi! I hate to add another GPU question to so many already asked and answered. I've been getting impatient with the CPU and I was thinking of getting a 8GB Card that fits on my dated motherboard. I have a 4GB 960 GTX now. But I've read that even 8GB is not enough to escape being shifted over to the CPU. Is it even worth it to upgrade at all to 8 GB or should I just save up for more, which would probably require upgrading my entire system and cost a heck of a lot? Just wandering.

Um... 8gb ought to be fine for most purposes. I have 12 and I rarely if ever use all of that. And there are always ways around it: Scene Optimizer, etc. 4gb is maybe a little slim, unless you want to be optimizing all the time.
