Problem Rendering with Optix Acceleration ON

Has anyone else notice a problem with optix acceleration with EVGA 2080 GTX cards? My system has a 8GB EVGA 1070 card and one EVGA 2080 GTX 8GB card. In some scenes even with only about 2GB of VRAM used Daz Studio drops into CPU mode. When I examined the log file I noticed that an error was reported with the Optix acceleration and then it reported that there was NO memory in either card! I turned OFF Optix acceleration and the scene rendered normally. I'm using the beta version of Daz Studio.

Yes, things like this have been reported more than a few times.
Hi there,
I have the same issues here with 12 GB Titan. I switched off OptiX Prime and I was able to render the scene quite fast.
...oh and yes..I´m also using the latest beta version.
Even my old 980 ti was able to render the same scene without OptiX Acceleration.
...simply astonishing....DAZ shoud do something!
I had a fix work by selecting the specific graphics card for the daz program inside the nvidia control panel but that is rendering directly through iray now I think and I would also guess bypassing optix acceleration. Slower but fewer crashes or reverting to cpu, it still does it occasionally. Tiny thumbnails with a character hair , light and no background. Seriously shouldn't be running out of memeory at all.
