So this product has a parachutist and parachute, but it requires another WWII uniform product. I just need the parachute....do I still need to buy the other WWII uniform to use the chute?

    Looking at the bottom three promo images shows what comes with  the set, so, no, you don't need the uniform.
    If you don't like it, you have 30 days to return it, anyway.

    Thanks for bringing this up, I didn't know about this set. Into the wishlist it goes!

    A minor aside - the equipment apparently changed in the 1960's with possibly larger, more rounded canopies (the round silk or nylon bowl-shaped thing at the top of the parachute). I have yet to see a good model of these later rigs. The New York Times re-published a picture of them a couple of years ago.
