V4 character morphs

Please help, I'm going nuts and keep buying more stuff I find doesn't do the job...all I want to do is use my V4 characters, morphs and skins in the new DazStudio.
I've....
V4 for G2 Female
V4 Auto skins converter for G2 Female
Gen2 Female Morphs Bundle
Victoria 6

I can use my V4 skins but can't use/import the premade character morphs or V4 morphs.

So is there anything I can do/buy/use to be able to use my old V4 character morphs?


Hope someone can help as I would really love to use the new Daz but find I'm having to go back to Daz3 as I know I can get a job done quickly and without hair or nail loss!

    Dimension3D is updating "Generation X for Genesis" to work with Genesis 2, but there's no ETA on that yet. Kattey has a thread on converting morphs between figures if you'd like to try that.

    At the moment, I can't think of a way to directly transfer your V4 morphs to G2F. Generation X will eventually have that capability, but right now it only transfers Generation 3 & 4 morphs to Genesis 1. I suppose it could be used to transfer your morphs to Genesis 1, and then you could use Kattey's tutorial (http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/24093/) to transfer the morphs from Genesis 1 to G2F. I suppose it may be possible to use her method to transfer directly from V4 to G2F, but I could be wrong. You could always ask her.

    You can use V4 in DS 4.6

    Thank you all for your replies...I'll wait on Gen X to be updated.

    FSMCDesigns...I would but I can't get the character morphs to work....I can dial up my own, use the skins but can't use the character models that came with the model.

    I'm in the same boat as many, having favorite V4 characters created by talented artists and I just can't say goodbye to them...even going back to V3, there are some amazing characters that will never be replicated. So much as I would love to use the new DazStudio I guess until GenX 2, I'll play in Daz3.

    Riftwitch, thank you...I'll have a look but if it's anything like something I purchased and downloaded where I had to create duf files...by the time I messed around and totally stuffed up 2 hours had gone by and the creative urge was long gone;)

    In DS4.6, try going to Content Library > options (the rectangle with horizontal lines in the upper corner) > Import Mapped Directories
    to make sure DS4.6 is looking in your DS3 content locations (I assume you haven't installed V4 in both places).

    Thanks fixmypcmike, tried that and the V4 morphs came across but not the V4 character model morphs.
    I'll wait with bated breath and dollars burning in my hand for the new GenX;)
