Skin Builder 3 processing hair?

...been having issues with Skin Bulder 3.  It starts fine focusing on the character like it should but part of the way in, it selcts the hair I used as if it is trying to convert that (even if it is turned off).  When this occurs, just keeps running and running infinitely.  I have never seen this happen before.  After several minutes of this, I have to close the script and then exit the programme to reset everything.as well as end the task in Task manager before restarting. 

I really don't want to delete the hair as I had to make manual adjustments to the colour.
