Forcing Morphs on Model (or adding to slider bars)

So, I bought a set of morphs, and when I double-click them in Daz, nothing happens.  The morphs art not applied.  I searched my slider bars in Parameters, because I know if I slide them, it would work, but they do not appear there.  They are DSON support files, apparently, and the requirement was Genesis 8 female.  I found the exact files in WIndow Explorer, and when I try to double click them from there, it just reopens Daz instead of applying them to them figure or adding them as slider bars.  So, is there a way to add these morphs AS slider bars since I have the files?  Is there like a File>Add Morphs To Parameter Tab?  Or something along thse lines so that I can force them to work on the genesis 8 model I am using?  I'll attach a pic of one of the files.

What is the full path to the location of those files on your drive as shown in Windows Explorer? It sounds like they may not be in the right location for DAZ Studio to find them.

    c:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/My Library/data/Daz 3D/Genesis 8/Female/Morphs/Laudanum/Stomach Deformation Morphs

Actually, because of what you said, I looked into it, the files are actually DUF files here:

    C:/Users/Public/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/My Library/People/Genesis 8 Female/Shapes/Laudanum/Stomach Deformation Morphs

However, it is still doing the same.  If I double click them in Windows, it just opens a new opening of Daz rather than applying it to the selected Gen 8 female I have selected.

Here is attached what it shows in my Content Library in Daz.  Is there a way to turn it into a slider bar or force it to apply to my model?

In the Read Me file it says:

    1) Load your Genesis 8 figure (it may be already morphed and/or posed)
    2) Load Genesis 8 Female Genitalia from the Anatomy folder.
    3) Go to People\Genesis 8 Female\Shapes\Laudanum\Stomach Deformation Morphs.
    4) Load the desired morph by double clicking the appropriate icon while the Genesis 8 Figure is selected.

So, it appears to be in the right place.  It just won't apply.  I definitely have the Genesis 8 Female selected.  The problem is that no one else seems to be having this issue as I cannot find anyone else discussing these morphs elsewhere.

  • AND, if it helps, I kept double clicking it, and I can see a message flash for an instant.  So I kept trying to take a screenshot and finally caught it.  So it says it is "loaded" but does not morph the model.  Again, I think changing this DUF thing into a slider bar would do it.

    Your problem is almost certainly

    /My DAZ 3D Library/My Library/

Assuming that the My DAZ 3D Library folder is your content directory you need tot ake everything out of the My Library folder and place it in the My DAZ 3D Library
