Mars Explorers is a look into the future of what Astronaut's suits could be when we reach Mars. It comes with separate Gloves, Boots, Helmet, Badges, Front-Pack, Back-Pack, Pouches, Pickaxe L/R, Hood with Mic and the Suit itself. The suit is fuller and larger to give a more realistic look. Gloves fingers can be thickened. It comes in three basic colors: white, orange and dark gray, with trim variations. Each material set comes in a preloaded sub-set, so it's easy loading. I have also provided blank texture templates for the badges so you can create your own logos. I have normal map presets for the suit to get a more wrinkled look. And there's auto conforming pickaxes for left and right hands, and grip poses for each. There is also a foot scale pose, if you want bigger boots. This is for Genesis 2 Male(s) and Michael 6. I have done a straight DSON conversion to Poser that duplicates the DAZ Studio presets. This is a great set for all your space and Sci-Fi scenes.

The G2F version will support G2F V6 G6 Gia and Josie 6 plus more !!!

    I'll be buying this as soon as I can afford it.mno idea why, but I've been wanting this sort of spacesuit for a long time.

    Hopefully by then there will be a bundle for G2F and G2M, but from where I'm standing there's a lot more M6 coming and it will be well into next month before they get through them all. So hang in there !

    ... but sometimes tricky to get the lighting of the scene right. That light reflection on his nose bother me a little...

    Have to say this was inspired by the guys in the Product Suggestions forum so a note of thanks to them for the idea.

    This is probably the coolest item I've seen in awhile, I might have to come up with a rover vehicle or something.

    Thanks Dz that means a lot coming from someone like you, I did look at a rover myself it was way too much work and I don't have the modeling skills to do it. But someone like you could do a great job !!!

    Actually I just completed the M4 and V4 version but that for another place but Genesis will but the last as it has so many shapes involved in it. It was the first one I did but then I converted it over to the other figures

    This is a great spacesuit!

    One minor problem with the release, Daz have not put the Readme page in the online documentation centre. They have put a placeholder page for the Genesis 2 Female version which is not out yet, nothing for the Genesis 2 Male version that we can buy.

    They still haven't put up the blank texture templates for the badges so you can make your own logos. I guess you'll have to wait till Monday when they get back.

    Much appreciated! Looking forward to combining it with all the Genesis 1-specific products in my inventory.

    Are the blank badges the same ones in the Templates folder that are in the Product Downloads? I've got a UV map for the badges, White, Orange, & Grey blank ones, and a Bump for them in it.

    OK seems DAZ aren't going to do it so I will set a link myself and post it on the first page of this thread. Sorry this should have gone up a while ago. Give my half an hour !

    just downloaded the 2 zips you posted with the badges and UV maps and compared the files with the same ones in the Templates_17618_MarsExplorersforGenesis2Males.zip that DAZ has in the Product Library Downloads.

    The files in the 2 zips are the same as in the Templates_17618_MarsExplorersforGenesis2Males.zip.

    Well that's where the confusion is normally there is a "Resource Files " tab on the product page but it's not there.
    So they must have put them in the Product Library Downloads like you said thanks for clearing that up !!!

    Once the Genesis 1 version is available, will there be a bundle option with all three versions?

    Wow love the postwork on this the Hi-Res is excellent gives it that alien feel!
