Special thanks to outrider42 and arglesw007 for the final recipe - WELL DONE! Now to play around with her and see what we can come up with! Here's my first shot.
Also, she is a character created by Sangriart and used by Goldtassel in promos. She started with Osuine who is said to resemble the actress Ana de Armas. Whew!
My girl is called Anna Golte, mostly because you gotta call her something!
Anna Golte - 3D render by Erik Pedersen

I believe that Osuine is actually based upon Jenna Coleman.
Hmmm. I wouldn't know. I was just going by a comment on Osuine's product page. It is possible I misinterpreted something too. Maybe she looks like lots of different people <shug>?

Clara Oswin Oswald was the character Jenna Coleman played in Doctor Who, so it seems likely that was the intended resembalnce - but as the 3D celebrities thread shows, much lies in the eye of the beholder.
Osuine is a play on Oswin, and a couple promos have her inside what appears to be the Tardis. Its definitely intended to be Coleman, and I can see it. Though "Osuine" is a bit stylized, and of course there is always the eye of the beholder. Regardless of the intention, Osuine is certainly a unique and lovely creation for Daz. There's nothing quite like her.

I am normally pretty good with pronounciation, but was wavering a little on this one - thanks for the clarification "Oswin".
I er, uh, <mumbling quietly> don't really care for Dr. Who so am not aware of all the actor people invovled in it (I know more than I will admit to, but not much). I made my comment based on something I read. I take everyone's comments here in the best possible spirit and appreciate the education. :)
I agree, though, that she is a very unique and awesome addtion to any 3D library!
Always be aware of your frame size. In the old 35mm film days, a 50mm lens was generally considered to have a field of view about equal to our eyes, neither pushing out nor pulling in the image.
Not really, no. The eyes have a field of view pretty near 180. There's no rectilinear equivalent. It would be about a 10mm fisheye.
It's a bit more complicated that that. A "normal" lens is considered to be one where the diagonal of the frame is equal to the focal length of the lens. For 35mm full frame, that's 43mm. (Pentax actually makes an excellent 43mm f1.9 lens. Nikon once made a 45mm f2.8 "pancake" lens. I often use a Cosina/Voigtlander 40mm f2. But i digress). That's only a 44 degree horizontal field of view. (52mm (the real focal length of most 50mm lenses) is 36 degrees HFOV).
So, if the eye is almost 180 degrees, why is 44 degrees "normal"? Because it's the size that, when you hold an 8x10 print at a "comfortable" viewing distance (as determined by some experts at Zeiss like 100 years ago) that picture has the same magnification as the original scene, so if you hold the picture in front of the original scene everything is the same size in the picture as in the scene.
Does this actually matter? Not really.
So, where does 50mm come from? Honestly, becaue lens making was pretty difficult back in the late 1950s when the "SLR revolution" started. The photographers were going "we want 'normal' normal lenses" while the camera companies were going "we need enough space behind the rear element for the swinging SLR mirror". I won't bore you with the math, but it basically boils down to inexpensive, well corrected lenses for a 35mm SLR need to be about 45mm for f2.8, 50mm for f1.8, and 58mm for f1.4.
The photographers rebelled against 58mm lenses (often tweaked to be just under 57.5mm so the camera companies could label them 55mm) so the camera companies introduced more expensive, but less well corrected 52mm f1.4 lenses (which they labeled 50mm). You know how TVs are labeled "55 inch class" now, and if you measure them you find they're really 53.5 inches? Same thing, except in fast normals the increase in cost was making them shorter.
The sad part is, even with modern lens design, LD glasses, and high index of refraction glasses we're basically not reintroducing shorter normals. Too many photographers have learned to use awkward lengths, so the mainstream camera companies have left the short normals to specialty companies like Cosina/Voigtlander and Pentax.

Just for clarification, the Ana De Armas reference was to Goldtassel's modified version of the character, rather than the original Osuine.
You may or may not be interested but Jenna Coleman can more recently be seen playing Victoria, in the show of the same name. Maybe you've seen something of that instead? Or not. :-)
@Gogger, that is a beautiful render! I've found this thread extremely helpful. Your expression is beautiful. Could I ask you what settings you have to achieve such a natural look? Also, the hair is fantastic. Could you share what you used and your approach to post? I'm learning so much here.

Thank you! I'm at work right now, but the smile is partly Sahel's signature smile, and a little of Carmen's smile if you own those characters, and the hair is actually TWO different hair models with different colors - one is Blair (red accents using Chevybabe25's Backllight Hair Shaders) and the other is from Rendo by Out of Touch called Lizanna hair. I'll edit this post later when I can tell you the exact specs and percentages for the expression - which is a mix of two expressions that come with those specific models and a little custom dial spinning of my own. I think Sahel's signature smile is one of the very best as it uses the whole face in the expression and it adds so much even in small doses.
Mixing two hair models for unique looks and coloring effects was one of my biggest A HA! moments in rendering. Sometimes I use two copies of the same hair and just dial them separately for different movement to fill out or add style. Try it!
I often use two hairs but rarely use smart content so don’t know if it always did it or just the latest beta
DAZ studio puts a dialogue up saying I already have a hair loaded and if I want to replace it?
Never saw that before and I was wanting two hairs, maybe as I said because I was loading them from the smart content hair category instead of just the content library.

I load the character figure, then load a hair that parents to it. Hide the hair (clicking eye icon in scene pane), select the character figure and then load another hair to it. Now unclick the eye icon and VOILA! Multiple hairs, no problem, no conflict! Hopefully that works for you too.
P.S. I don't use Smart Content (When I first started using DAZ Studio I had a severe database issue that precluded Smart Content working properly and I just got used to NOT using it.)

Well as I said I never had this happen before so assume might be a smart content thing as I was using the database to find complementary styles visually but also had installed the latest beta.

Last night I installed, and always use, the latest beta as well. I'll have to test the two-hairs-technique when I get home today.

It is dependent on the content type set in the database, whether or not it happens depends on a setting in Edit>Preferences>Content tab.
I grabbed the head morphs but I'm still missing a few sliders. Just posting in case argles sees this.

I think @outrider42 has the mix. Here's my take with that formula. Head> Osuine 65%, Osuine assymetry 100%, V8 25%, V8 HD 100%. Osuine skin default preset, skin gloss normal. skin Normals default. , makeup eyesahdow 2, lips 3. EJ Brenda blue eyes ( thanks @Zokreb).

Actually, someone else found the right materials for the eyes on another similar thread. I can't find the post anymore, but credits to him/her.
There are a number of good eye products, but the EandJ eyes worked really well for this. Nevertheless, you put the info in this discussion.
I recently watched Blade Runner 2049 and I just wanted to add in the actress this model was done after:
Ana de Armas
It might not exactly be her, but to me they look very similar.
Thank you Outrider, and Cora who put me on to this thread! I originally thought she looked a bit like Rose McIver from iZombie.
