I put some sale items together with a new release for M6 into my cart, but it shows only the normal prices. When will I see what I'll have to pay?

    Had the same issue and it seems like the promotion might be limited to items released today.

    The banner says "With purchase of any New Release from this page" so I hope they update it (either the banner or, preferably, the sale criteria) soon!

    Araneldon, but why don't they tell us definitely that it is limited? And why do they write 'Still save on these NEW Michael 6 releases!'? I hope it is one of the numerous store glitches, but if not, I'll ignore this sale.

    I read it the same way as Araneldon, that it only works with the new releases for today. They are all that is shown on that "page" before it then goes on to list the the previous releases and say "also save on these", so a different page

    Then you have a rather peculiar definition for the word page. For what it's worth, initially I interpreted it to include all M6 releases as they are new and listed on the same page, but experimentation proved otherwise.

    Agree and especially since the things released yesterday were not included in any promotion.
    Well to be honest its fine as it saves me money but it is extremely misleading and a real overall put off, if I didn't feel misinformed I might buy the Micah hair anyway but I think this time I'll just pass.

    Doesn't show a discount with one of today's releases in the cart either. Hopefully, will get fixed soon. :)

    Placed a huge order with todays and yesterdays new M6 items and a whole bunch of Genesis hair and clothing.
    I will recalculate but as far as I could see, all the discounts worked fine at the moment I placed the order.

    EDIT
    I placed a new release from today in the cvart and 2 Genesis hairs.
    Then I added the PowerUp discount.
    Seems to work or am I missing something?

    OK, I get it now. The 60% off is for Genesis stuff not Genesis 2 male stuff but you got to have one of todays new Genesis 2 male releases in the cart to get it. The Advertisements are sooo confusing!

    The newsletter isn't even confusing about this, it's just flat out wrong. And I was just about to make my first G2M purchase thanks to this promo if it had been as advertised. Better luck next time I guess.

    Yep, the ad is very misleading. A quick fix would be to insert a link in the words THIS PAGE so you know what they are referring to. I added the attitude poses 2 frames down under the ad and got no discount, yet I then tried the survivor poses directly under that frame and it worked, very confusing and misleading. Also for the genesis items that are discounted, to bad not all are, only select ones they put in the category.

    I have no interest in any M6 items, but it's a good deal for getting me some more Genesis 1 items.

    I can confirm that the 60% off deal works only with items released today. That was the way the sale was set up, and that is the way it is intended.

    I'll have someone look at the wording on the Sales and Promo page and the Sitewide banner and see if we can clear the language up a little bit.

    *Edit* It also works if you have either of the M6 bundles (Pro or Starter) in your cart.

    I'm seeing something else that doesn't seem correct: there are items in the category that are 2.99 and I'm not getting a discount if I add them to the cart. I also see 1.99 items, but I have all those :-0 so I didn't add any of them.

    That seems normal, but in that case, the category shouldn't include them.

    For non PC member those items show as normal price items, and non members may want to include them.

    Thank you for clearing up the confusion - but it is very misleading and as yesterdays releases didn't have a promotion it was even more confusing, from me you have lost a sale.

    Thanks. So obviously it only works with the five items in this image and the M6 bundles (Pro or Starter), but then you have the browse more button off to the right which "implies" more options for this sale category. The web people really need to work on their layout logic.

    We are getting tired of this type of deceptive promotion. I really don;t care to hear how it was "intended" All I know is what it says in PLAIN ENGLISH: “any new release from this Page”

    Why does nobody in the sales department speak plain English?

    I would not be complaining but for the fact that this STUPID error just cost me several hundred dollars, and I'm ticked off.

    Must have been my confusion. I had Milen Hair, which did not give me a discount earlier this morning, but seems to be working now, whether it is today's release or not. ;) Thanks for all the discounted goodies. Now, if it just applied to Genesis female clothing as well, I could stock up some more. :)

    Well, I have my picks in the cart and apparently the discount is working. But before I hit the BUY button, can anybody who has it tell me if the Scottish Kilts Charlie outfit and textures will work in Poser? I see no companion files listed, but I could make those in Studio. However, that's no guarantee it will be usable. Running Poser 10 with latest service release on Win. 7 64 bit, if that helps. Also have latest Daz Studio version, updated just yesterday.

    I guess you didn't check the prices before checking out. At 60% off, I would think there would be a pretty hefty discount and difference in price before checking out with several hundred dollars.

    This is so odd. I tossed the Milen Promo guy in my cart and added 2 other items from the 60% off category. Total was $47.87. Discount brought it down to $23.33. Add the M6 mega prize coupon (tier 2) and the price drops down to $21.24.

    As far as I can tell, just about everything on the promo page above the Black November add is still covered by the Mega prize coupon. Also, it isn't just today's new releases. Everything between today's releases and the Black November bundles are listed as "still new". I tried several different combinations of items from today's and other M6 releases. They are showing up as "new releases" and giving the discount all but the PC and Value items in the category (if you are a PC member).

    Looks like they updated the rule so that any new release from the page triggers the discount.

    Well that really takes the biscuit - make up your minds and please try and get your facts correct. I've only just seen this and am really pissed off about it because its too late for me to take advantage of the offer.
    This place is turning into a laughing stock.

    No its far from the first time and every time it happens I get a little more peeved, I would imagine that it is slowly driving away custom.
    This is the place I spend the most, I don't like shopping elsewhere particularly but I'm getting really fed up with these confused promotions.

    If it is it has no banners or advertising, I can't see anyway of accessing the item list.
