Most items in bundle not appearing in DAZ

So I recently downloaded this bundle https://www.daz3d.com/m4-hero-pro-pack, but when I open DAZStudio, only two of the items in the bundle appear. I tried redownloading everything multiple times, but none of the other products appear in DAZStudio when I look for them. Does anybody happen to know why this may be? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Sorry, I'm kind of new to this. What do you mean by that?

Those items are in Poser, rather than native Daz studio, format - are they in the Contnt Library pane under Poser Formats>My Daz 3D Library>Figures>Some Folder for the main items (where My Daz 3D Library will be the content directory installed to).

So I have to have the Poser program installed to be able to use these items? I checked the content library pane in DAZStudio, but it only shows a few of the items I own, none of which are the items from that bundle.

No, but Ds has to import Poser files rather than load them natively so they do not appear in the same place for views based on files-placement (which are the best place for basic troubleshooting)

I installed the bundle using DAZ3DIM. I think I see what you mean now though. So I'm supposed to drag the folders of the poser items into a different space on my computer? How do I know where to move them to?

So I recently downloaded a free bundle from the DAZ shop (https://www.daz3d.com/m4-hero-pro-pack this one), but I found out that most of the products are from Poser I believe, and thus don't appear anywhere when I open DAZStudio (including the content pane). From what I gathered online, these Poser products have to be manually moved somewhere in your My DAZ 3D Library, but I cannot figure out what to move and where to move it to. Does anybody know of any updated tutorials regarding this process or can tell me generally how it works? Everything I've found online seems to be outdated. I would very much appreciate it, thanks

No. Leave them where they are. They'll work just fine there and the DIM will look for them there if it ever needs to update them.

I can't find them in DAZStudio if I leave them where they are. I tried reinstalling them in DIM multiple times.

Go to the content pane and open Poser Formats>My Daz 3D Library>Figures> and you should find them. Open them from there.

Make sure you have the path to the Poser Formats defined in Content Directory Manager (it should be the same as the DAZ Studio Formats).

Did you manually download the .zip file for the product, or did you use DIM or Connect?

If you manually downloaded the product, the first step is to extract the contents to a temporary location/folder on your drive (create one if you don't have anything handy - you can blow everything away after we're done).

Once you have extracted the contents, go to the temporary folder and you should find a folder named Content and a manifest file. The manifest file isn't necessary to use the product and can be ignored. The Content folder is just a placeholder - a kind of surrogate for your real content folder which might be the default used by DAZ Studio during installation, or some other name that you may have given it. I don't use the default myself, but if I recall correctly it is called My Daz Library or something like that. Within that Content folder is the stuff you really need. Open the Content folder and select everything in there. Now simply drag and drop the selected folders into your actual content library. You will be asked if you want to merge the folders, since all those folders already exist in there, and answer Yes. This will place the new content in the folders along with the existing content. You're done. Open DAZ Studio, go to the Content Library pane and look under Poser Formats for the content. If you want to know where to find it all, you can go back to your temporary folder where you extracted it and drill down through the folders there to find where to look. It will take a little while to get accustomed to where things are found in the Poser Formats part of your library, but you'll get the hang of it after awhile.

If the above isn't clear, refer to the screen grab below. I use a folder on a data drive (D:\) named 3DContent for, well, my 3D content, natch.

I'm sorry, I must be doing something wrong, but I'll include some screenshots. The first is what the inside of my My DAZ 3D Library folder looks like. Just to clarify, this is where I drag the content of the products/bundle, correct? As in this is the folder you were talking about when you mentioned the real content folder? The second is what I assume you mean when you say to look under the Poser format for the content pane (just so you know, none of the products you see in that screenshot are from the products from the bundle I'm talking about). I'm assuming I need to have all of those boxes check marked? Please let me know what I'm doing wrong if you can. Sorry for the confusion, but thank you for your help so far.

The checkmarks in the second screenshot are related to the search box above - you choose to search for poser format files there. I would close these seach options with a click on the divider to have more space for the actual content below.

It seems by the icons you currently have some product folder opened. Navigate the folders back to the root of your content library to see there is a "Daz Studio Formats" and a seperate "Poser Formats" section in the list or tree view. I'm used to the windows explorer tree view style, the list view is the default but you can change that in the panes menu.

    Library view

[Edit]: Watch out for those little divider bars the Content Library got three of them. Collapse the Search options and expand the List/Tree folder navigation. You propably have accidentally hidden / collapsed the folder navigation.

Merged threads - please don't start a second thread on an existing subject as it just leads to duplication of effort by those trying to help.
