G8 Male Anatomical element texture issues

To add to my laundry list of issues I have with this program, the textures for G8 Male a.e. are loading too light, and I can't figure out why.

Loading or rendering?
Single character or all?
And is it rigth out of the box or have you done some adjustments first?
Assumkng the textures are from the saem set as the main body materials, are you sure both are Iray/both are 3delight as appropriate? Have you used a preset to adjust translucency on the main figure?
I’ve only tried it on a single character, but I’ve tried other character textures, both loading and rendering. I suppose I could try it on a fresh character. It’s not right out of the box, per say, I’m pretty sure it worked the first time. But I haven’t made any adjustments, at least not on purpose.
They are both Iray, and no, I don’t think I’ve used a translucency preset.
So I am assuming you are loading the base genesis 8 male and then adding the genitals, correct? If so, the genitals do not load with a texture and the base Genesis 8 male doesn't come with genital textures. You will need a character that has genital textures and not all do.
I’m using characters. Currently one of the Brute characters, I think Samdy. And then I load the genitals, then add the included textures, and the texture loads and renders too light.
I just rememberd that I have Samdy and never rendered him. I just loaded him, added gens, loaded textures, added the painted face geoshell and rendered. All the tones were fine for the iray textures for me. Perhaps a reinstall of the product?
Are there any translucency settings that are being applied to the Brute? Possibly by the default presets? I know various characters have various skin settings, so maybe the same should be applied to the gens. Or, possibly the gens are using... Michaels? anatomy textures... can't say I've actually checked to see what the default loads with.
Not too helpful now, but various anatomy bits from other sites mostly seem to come with shells, shell shaders, and fix scripts that work very well for those, and also at least work well with the stock ones. So while I think as a test I tried them out to get the stock ones to go, due to the ease of use I've just preferred using the 3rd party ones. They even actually come with manuals!
So now that I’m back at my computer, FSMC might actually have been right; though I was using morphs and textures for Samdy, the figure had initially been loaded in as the base Gen8 Male. I don’t know why this would have created my problem, or if it really was even the cause, but rebuilding the character by loading up The Brute (or any other character for that matter) has... well, “solved” is a strong word, but I’m no longer having the problem. Thanks for all the suggestions though!
Edit: Figured out the actual cause; it's some kind of conflict with RawArt's Severd Man.
That makes complete sense. If you load your figure as you have, the geoshells of Severed Man cover the genitals which looks like a pale white film. If you go to Paremeters of each geoshell and Visibility>Surfaces, you can turn off the geoshell covering the genitals; I think they all begin with WB.
oh, right. This is the same issue I had with Dragelle and another set of geoshells. Figures I'd muck up two different things involving the same artist. Thanks!
