Hi,
Before using Daz Studio, I used Poser.
With this software, it was very easy to define the collision zone for a garment.
With dForce, for the simulation of a skirt, on the body Genesis 8, I have to exclude the head and the hands.
The hands when they are close to the garment, cause a tear of the fabric !
I did not find any tutorial on how to avoid this problem.
Thanks

Select the problem nodes and then in the Parameters pane turn off Visible in Simulation.
Thank you for this valuable info.
But with my first try, putting both hands in the OFF position, I still had the same problem.
Since it was the left thumb that tore the dress, I looked at the configuration of the fingers of the hand.
Amazingly, I found that they stayed in the ON position !
I thought that the setting of a hand in the OFF position would automatically propagate to the fingers. Which is not the case.
After switch OFF the 10 fingers and their subparts which solved the problem.
Now, I would like to know how to propagate the configuration of a part of the body to all its subparts, because this setting is very laborious !
Select all of the bones at once (you can expand the listing in the Scen pane by right-click, which makes it easier) and you should be able to set them all in one go - if not, open the parameters pane option menu (the lined button in the top corner, or right-click the tab) and make sure that Consolidate Properties is checked and that Display Separate Items is unchecked.
