If this exists already, I apologize. This just popped into my head.
I think I just came up with a great idea.

A runtime scanner.

What it would do, is scan your run time for
inconsistency's, Missing geometry's, corrupt files and /or viruses. Miss placed items or incompatible props and items.
It would scan your plug ins as well.
When the scan is complete it would bring up a menu showing you the items it found that could not be fixed automatically.
Each scan would present you with an option to (report these bugs)
You can also uncheck the files you don't want to report.
Giving the pro's an idea of what problems they should work on fixing,

it would give you 3 options for each item found and a batch menu as well.
The options would be.

Delete this file
Leave it alone. (ignore)
Search for updates.

This would be revolutionary. Clean runtimes for everyone, at the same time giving the pro's a new task, new jobs and more profit threw runtime scanner purchases.

another idea of mine was to make it so the smoothing modifier can have multiple collision items.
example A boots collide with both the pants, and the actor. would be really nice if i can set it up so both smooth around my boots.
i can set it so the collision item is my pants, but then the toes of my actor are poking out. i can set it so the collision item is the actor but then the boots poke threw the pants. forcing me to waste a ton of time deforming things and resizing and it never seems to come out looking right.

example B hair collides with both the shirt and the actor AND hats if your using one. would be nice to be able to have my hair go around both the shirt and the actor without having to jimmy rig everything.

example C i don't know about you guys but i use collision items on couches and beds to make the bed bend without spending 2 hours bending it with d-formers.
it would be nice be to be able to have both of my actors sit on a couch at both ends and have the couch have actor 1 and 2 be its collision item.

I can go on and on with how many uses you can get out of having multiple collision items on one item but i think these examples are good enough for you to get the picture.

i know a lot of reply's are going to be solutions to these problems VIA jimmy rig the scene , but lets face it. 2 clicks is always going to beat 50. multiple collision items should be within the realm of possibility..

If you are using a version of Poser that follows the old rigid runtime file structure that's fines. And there have been any number of runtime apps in the past for that. Some of them useful for the times, some of them less so. I'm not even sure if any of them are still on the market these days. Especially since P8 freed Poser users from the rigid runtime file structure.

Not sure if I can post a link to the competition.Meanwhile, do a market search for 'Runtime Repair' over at Rendorosity. There are a couple of products by Dimension 3D that seem to 'fit the bill'.

I use runtime repair from rendo. It fixes files that don't load right into DAZ for me. If an object loads in without textures runtime repair will fix it.
