Upgrading a character?

I have custom characters from previous generations G2M, G3F, etc. If those characters were created using a combination of different base characters, plus some custom morphs, is there a SIMPLE way to bring that character forward to G8?

For example, the avator of me to the left is G2M based using several different base characters plus some custom morphs. Is there a SIMPLE way to make it a G8M based character having the same apperance?

I tried transferring my one of my own characters by just moving dials by hand. The one on the left is Genesis and the right is G3. It probably took me an hour to make the new figure. I didn't want to buy a utility just to transfer the textures over, so I just added a G3 texture. Also, the original used the Stephanie character which I don't own for G3, but it worked out ok without it.
