thanks for posting that one Misty Whisky :) I am assuming they wouldn't be as memory intensive as alot of the newer outdoor sets so you could use more props and lighting with them?

With my characters I prefer the latest gen but with the background I love using the older cyclorama.
Quality is fairly good and it's very easy moving and scaling it.
I have used it in several of my scenes, just have a peek at my gallery ^^

I still use the millenium environment and the cyclorama- between LaurieS's texture sets (here), and Hobobo's (on sharecg), they don't look dated and it provide a lot of versatility. I've used them here: http://luck-be.deviantart.com/art/Rhiel-Morrigan-Again-349035913 , http://luck-be.deviantart.com/art/Daydreamer-371822913 , and http://luck-be.deviantart.com/art/Winter-Beckons-369411203 (with some dforms thrown down to make mounds of snow).

The woodland playsets are nice too, and LaurieS's sets usually come with textures for those, too.

I still use it. It is one of my "go to" props, very versatile.

I still use it and like it. Mainly because, whenever I tell myself I need to buy more scenes, another texture or character comes out and I buy them instead!

I never actually bought the cyclorama, it came free with DS2 and I just kept the files. If you go to ShareCG and look up hobobo, he has tons of cyclorama textures.

Below is a render I did on the beach

I am using diferent cycloramas and the woodland realms quite often, latest I used Magic Falls in my Dani and her Wolves ( http://www.daz3d.com/gallery/#images/13330/ )

I like using these when I can, partly cause they are easier on the ocmputer but also because they more often than not give a really nice background :)
