Help or tell me I'm an idiot....

OK, so I just installed Studio 4.6.... I've added my Genesis 2 Male and Female "essentiels" and Genesis 2 Female and Male Body Morphs... I used Install Manager for the first time. I ran Studio and .... PLease be gentle... Where is Genesis 2? I did look in the products list and found the "essentials" and when I ask for the base figure I'm told can't find Genesis 2.duf (or something like that)

So am I an idiot or is there a magic way to make dear sweet Genesis 2 figures appear?

Thank you in advance, Tim

Where did you install them to?

The DIM (DAZ Install Manager) installs by default to C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library, and if you did not change that, that is where they will be. You will need to add My DAZ 3D Library by using Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, and enter the path as both DAZ Studio AND Poser Formats.

Genesis installs to DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > People > Genesis in the Content Library pane.

You need to POINT DAZ Studio to the DIM install folder. It is not the Default folder that DAZ Studio creates at Install. The DIM install folder is set up like this on a Default PC.

Thank you I'm a very happy camper now ... Yes, I checked out and purchased your V4 to Gen 2 script ... I'll be testing it out soon ... BTW Does it really require Gen2 V4 or can I make decent textures for the base Gen2F?

You lost me. The V4 to G2F thing is a texture converter. It takes a V4 texture file and saves it out as a G2F texture file. It has nothing to do with making textures, just converting from to.
