    Title: Playtime for Mrs. Claus

What Mrs. Claus does while Santa and the Elves are busy preparing for Christmas.

And why not? I have fond memories of sledding down some big hills. And she seems to have a reindeer-pulled sleigh to bring her back up the hill.

    Dana

Me too. Besides, someone has to test the sleds. ;-)

Well, I am now completely out of time to find a decent backdrop (apparently, the sites I used to use now think "public domain" means "pay for this photo" - must spend a day next week just taking photos), so I had to play with the camera angle instead. But that worked better than I expected, so here's my Winter Wonderland entry ... just under the wire.

    Christmasier and Christmasier!

Alice and the Caterpillar count as "characters in literature," I trust... and this is a Winter Wonderland.

That's definitely an interesting one! Very Christmasy dress. Those 'shrooms will grow anywhere, won't they? :-P

I built the concept around the Christmas Dress, actually. This one's for France ...

Thanks for checking links again Dollygirl. A few more hours left to enter. Seems we finally have a competition now. 8 renders so far. Dec is always slow with holidays and all. Little slower this years seems.

This months contest is officially closed now. I will announce winners later today. My thanks to everyone who entered, to Dollygirl and music for covering for me while I was sick and couldn't come into the thread. Thanks to DAZ for their donation to the winners and of course to Jaderail for his generous donation to the winners.

    Drum roll please.....
We have winners. this took alot to sort out. as usual, everyone was all over the map with interpretation of the theme. I like that... I try to go with who followed the theme as well as how good of job they did in my decision making, haven't had to do it without judges in a while so you are stuck with what I liked.

    1st place
you hit the mark with your render Dollygirl, The prince and the pea made me laugh so hard I had to pee.

    2nd place
Frosty the Snowman His final Days by Lord Ganthor. Another funny and way out there render. I always knew Frosty had a drinking problem... hehehe

    3rd place
Mission Accomplished by smoke14. The lighting was just incredible on this one smoke. really well done.

the two honorable mentions go to
Kesmet2012 for Playtime with Mrs Claus. I always new she was my kind of gal, and Shakespeare in the Park by Dorseyland, Interesting look on the pig but all around great feeling to it. I have to mention robkelk and his Christmasier and Christmasier. I had a WTF moment at first but those eyes on Alice must have mesmerized me, I decide it was curious and curiouser after all.
