Product page say "The Mac installer for this product is OS9 only."
The installer!?
OS9 only?
How about OS10?

Do I need to use that installer or I can just use DAZ's DIM to auto-install it?

Zip or DIM is universal the Installer (exe) for that one needs the proper MAC OS. You will be fine with Zip or DIM.

    Thank you, Jaderail.

    BTW,
Does "for OS9 only" mean it only accept OS9? no OS8 or OS10?

That means the Executable File (installer that runs) was built to run on the OS9 system. I'm PC and do not know IF other MAC OS's can run files built for older types. I do know that many of my older PC files (I go back 30 years) fail on my newer Win7 OS.

I heartily recommend you to use DIM, and there are several different old generations of installers for Mac OS X, where some are OS 9, some PPC and some Intel, and the older ones not only have problems working on newer systems, when they work they are dreadfully slow and they scan all mounted disks for possible Runtimes. Was not a problem when disks where 4GB, but with 2TB disk that is pretty loaded it can take up to 10 minutes before it has done it's scan. This is not DAZ fault and not really Wise either as they were designed for Mac OS 9 and cabonized to work on 10 too.

So, to install content on Mac OS X, use DIM.

Personally I think that this is something left over on the page from the "Bad old Days'' when some of the installers wouldn't work with some Macs. AS long as you now have a newer zip to download it should be fine whether you use the DIM or do it manually.
