Fireflies increased with sets

Hi. A few months ago I switched to 4.11 Beta because I read about a human surface shader issue that was fixed in the current Beta. I used 4.11 almost exclusively and had no problems. Maybe last week or the week before the Beta had an update. Then I started having problems with those white specks. At first I thought it was just a poor product I had chosen. Then I lucked up on some new StoneMason sets. Inhad issues with the plants when I used the included lighting. Big white holes.
I have my renders set to run 15 000 on min and max with firefly enabled. I change filtering to 0.80. I get about 2 to 4 K iterations.
I have noticed I have the most problem with sets and just using their included lights. These are top quality things like Terra Dome 3.
I have less problem when I set the lights up myself. Using one of my HDRI sets.
I have attached a screen grab of Elios and his hair. Terra Dome 3 preset background set of those mountains with snow. The white spots in his hair never filled in, which is rather annoying. This is using the 4.11 public upgrade. I haven't had the chance to render in the new, new beta. Or render with my LY set.
Any ideas? Do most people add more lights to their sets? I am getting real frustrated.
Thank you in advance!

I upgraded to 4.11 and having the same problem with white dots, or fireflies. I noticed it was happening mostly to the hair on my models. One thing I tried is changing the glossiness values of the hair. On the surface tab, find 'Glossy Layered Weight' and move the slider towards 0 value. Also try the same for 'Dual Lobe Specular Weight'. Increasing the value for the 'Roughness' dials closer to 1 might help. This seemed to eliminate most of the white dots for me. The surface has to be for iray materials, though.
