I have noticed that with the release of dForce for hair now, that there is a new version release 4.11. Will this new version support the RTX line of Nvidea Cards?
Yes it supports the new cards. Ironically I had been holding off on the new cards, then jumped on a deal and just went through installing the Beta Monday. I recommend checking out the 4.11 thread in the Daz Software forum. I'm heading there myself to see if I need to uninstall the Beta before install.

Wouldn't the new version just over-write the old one?

4.11 general release will replace 4.10 general release but won’t touch the beta if you have it installed.
There’s no technical reason to uninstall the beta before installing general release version, they can live happily on the same system. You can uninstall the beta if you don’t plan to use it anymore, but you don’t have to.
So then because of 4.11 release yesterday, a 2080 TI should render a lot faster then a 1070 correct? I was holding off on getting the RTX myself because I saw 4.10 had slower render times.

I don't have the beta, just version 4.10 right now. Will 4.11 do an overwrite and keep my settings? Or will it just add an other version do my system and I have to get rid of the old version myself?

An RTX 2070 is 2/3s the speed of the older 1080ti and for far less the price. So the 2080ti should be WAY faster than 1070. The prices have come down a bit on these cards since last year, so it makes sense to upgrade to the RTX cards.
I did the update today and version 4.11 seemed to replaced 4.10 without any ill effects. I still have to play around with things a bit to make sure everything is alright. But so far, so good. Now, whenever I am ready I can get that RTX 2070 card. This was the one I was looking at:
At first I was going to go this route, but then I found out WHY it is cheaper even though it is better. This one takes up not 2 expansion slots, but 3! I decided I am not going there and to sacrifice both of the PCI slots in my machine.

Iray in DS4.11 will see and use the RTX cards as it would use the previous ones, but it won’t take advantage of RTX cores yet.
It will still use the Cuda cores, right?

Hello All,
I did the update today and version 4.11 seemed to replaced 4.10 without any ill effects. I still have to play around with things a bit to make sure everything is alright. But so far, so good. Now, whenever I am ready I can get that RTX 2070 card. This was the one I was looking at:
https://www.amazon.com/EVGA-RTX-2070-XC-08G-P4-2172-KR/dp/B07J63W42X/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=rtx+2070+xc&qid=1560710784&s=gateway&sr=8-1
This is the RTX 2070 XC
Another one I was looking at was the RTX 2070 XC Ultra, which happens to be slightly faster, runs a bit cooler and also cheaper:

At first I was going to go this route, but then I found out WHY it is cheaper even though it is better. This one takes up not 2 expansion slots, but 3! I decided I am not going there and to sacrifice both of the PCI slots in my machine.
Thanks all for the info!
