First, I'm sorry. I've looked through the 'Help' manual, and searched here in the forum. There apparently is no easy way to find information.  A 'search'  for position shows thousands of results and I could not find what I needed.

I've loaded a character and used a pose associated with a preset scene even though I'm not using 'that' scene. The character positions out of sight. Way out of sight!

How do I reset the characters position? I've seen references to position <0,0,0> but cannot find where I can set that. Using DAZ 4.11

    The translation settings on the hip or on the figure (depending on which was used) need to be set to 0 in the Posing or Parameters pane.

    I looked at those settings, for the figure. Never thought about the 'hip'. That did it! Very much appreciated!
