Sorry If I am posting this in the wrong forum, but is it just me or are these forums offline an awful lot? Is there something I am doing wrong on my end to access them? I keep getting the cloudflare page a lot when they are down.

I don't know, as I haven't seen anything unusual in the behavior of the forums of late. I know DAZ is supposed to be moving the forums to a new forums software package, so perhaps there is something that hits different folks sporadically.

Cloud Flair is a Safety front end used to get to the DAZ 3D site (it is Cached, you are never really ON DAZ 3D) The Info from the Cloud version is passed to the DAZ Servers and then updated and Passed back to the Cloud which you then see. It is it's own set of server farms all over the world. IF the DAZ servers get out of synic (mostly at server update time) or your connection to the CLOUD server Farm you connect to gets out of sync or has any type of Server error on the CLOUD side you can and will get Cloud Flair.

Also it has been posted that the DAZ 3D Cookies can Cause Cloud Errors. The way to FIX that is to be sure you DELETE all DAZ 3D Cookies on your PC. Then try to connect to the Site again. In Chrome this happens to me after about a month of using ONE cookie to login with.

I'm running into the same problem on occasion.. Check to see if you're logged in. Or - if you can - log out and then back in.

...anyone notice that the forum time stamp on a post is an hour ahead of the local time zone one is in?

I just submitted this post at 12:28AM but the time stamp on it shows 01:28AM.

I've been dealing periodically with this one ever since the new forums went up.

Its seems strange but it seems to be a Chrome specific issue for me, yet a 502 is meant to mean an issue at the other end or a proxy server.

Chrome gives the screen below and Safari has no issue that I have seen with Cloudflare errors.

You think if its a legitimate 502 issue the cloud fare issue would be in both browsers no?

Just tell them to stop using the Cloud network for a start it will double the speed and have next to none crashes. I haven't have anyone give it the thumbs up.

DAZ_Jon says that the best way to solve it is clear the browser cache and then go to go into your cookies and remove the DAZ cookies, in particular the one called ''frontend'' and then reboot the forums and let the browser rebuild it

All I know is since they started the new site, I have had problems getting into Daz or staying in Daz. So far it hasn't happened during a purchase.

Just to confirm clearing the daz cookies did seem to correct the error. I used instructions for google chrome here https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
Is this a solution or a work around? i guess it depends if the issue reoccurs and with what frequency it reoccurs.
I'm not sure if the process is any easier then just jumping to a different browser when i hit the forums and encounter this error, letting it resolve itself wth time.
