Forum's Time of Day is an hour different...

I just noticed that the forum is ahead of my computer clock by one hour.
I just noticed it and I don't think this is normal; I've checked my own system time and I'm pretty certain that my profile is set up correctly to allow the time to be represented to me correctly.
So, nearest I can figure is...
1. My forum profile doesn't account for the switch back to standard time and I only just now noticed the difference?
2. DAZ runs on Central Standard time now and not Mountain Standard time?
3. It is past my bedtime and I should pay for the contents of my cart and go to sleep?

Yes, it's (1). You'd think with today's computer power my GPS and cable TV would handle Daylight Savings Time automatically, but apparently it's a major programming challenge.
Of course, (3) is always a recommended solution.
LOL, haha!
Okay, so what is the "official" time zone here now in December for the store sales? Is it "Mountain Standard Time" or is it something else?
I ask because I lost out on a lucrative deal a few days ago, and thought maybe my clock was wrong.
Yes, it's Mountain Standard Time -- as I post this it is 12:28AM DAZ Time.
...It has to be MST as I submitted my RRRR entry at around 10:58 PM local time (PST) to compensate for the time zone difference yet the forum lists the posting time as 11:58PM.
The time showing for this post is actually after 1:15 AM even though looking at my computer clock on both the notebook and workstation as well all the other clocks in the flat show it is 12:15 AM.
I just realized it when I did my last post a few minutes ago. The time it stated was 1 hour behind me here on the East Coast, even though Draper, Utah is actually 2 hours behind us.
What I really find strange is, most forum software allows you to set automatic update for DST, or it at least has an option in your profile where you can reset it twice a year manually. I just checked, and this forum's software may (or may not) have had the option when we first registered, but it's not an option anywhere in my Control Panel.
Hmmmm, maybe we really do need the new forum software that's been mentioned recently.
...this can also be an issue for challenge and contest deadlines.
For example I submitted an entry for a challenge just a few minutes before 11:00PM local time (Pacific Time Zone) last night which in Draper would still be within the deadline of 11:59:59PM. However, the time stamp returned on the entry post was an hour later, which would mean in Draper, the post would have a time stamp of almost 1:00 AM instead of just before Midnight. Effectively this "glitch" could have disqualified the submission.
I alerted the challenge manager (who is actually in Europe and thus would have to adjust for the time differential) to this as well as posted a link to this thread.
Under localisation settings
Don't forget, not everywhere in the world does the timey-changey thing on the same day. Here across the Pond I usually have to change the local settings manually for each forum I regularly visit.

Yes, it's true that it gets a bit more complicated on a global website. Still doesn't explain why a GPS or cable TV operator, which know your location and even transmit the current time to your device, can't get it right. And even on a website it shouldn't be a big deal to present more than 24 time-zone options to distinguish places which switch at different times -- the number of possible values isn't that large.
