You just need to switch UV's in DS to V4 when you have Genesis loaded

yes , i did that but with some robust male figures the seams are showing and nipple is getting placed higher., thats the reason i felt like asking about it if iam missing some thing

If the skins are male, you probably need to switch the UVs in DS to M4.

Genesis or G2F or G2M? Genesis by default uses the V4 mapping whether you have male, female or child morph dialed. You can switch to M4 but you also might want to go into the render settings and turn down the minimum shading rate.

G2F uses V5 mapping by default and G2M uses M5 mapping by default.

"Robust male figures" — are you sure they are M4, or could they be F4? The UVMapping is subtly different, so things won't quite line up. Genesis only has M4 UVs right out of the box, for the others you'll need to have the matching Iconic Shape for Genesis installed.

No, F4 uses the M4 UVmap -- legacy-Poser-format figures don't have multiple UV sets built in.

Hold on, there's an Iconic Shape for F4, so... maybe some of the F4 characters do use that, even if F4 itself doesn't? I don't think I've actually used that Iconic Shape yet, so I haven't had a chance to look at the Genesis UV settings.

    I is all confuzzled... :-S

The iconic shapes are just shapes, no textures.

The iconic shapes are shapes for Genesis. By default, the Genesis figure uses V4 mapping unless you specifically swap to a new UV set.
