Hi,
I have just bought the component "IDG dForce Dynamics - Scarves and Shawls".
I do not know how to use it !
There is a short file description (2 pages, only in english) with the product but nothing concrete : no exemple, no screenshots, no tutorial, no video ...
So, how to use this product ?
Thank you.
Sorry for my english : it is not my language.

Some of the pop-up images show a series of steps that were used to create the final drape, you need to use the supplied morphs and bones to get the scraf in the starting position and then let the simulation drop it into place:

Merci pour cette réponse mais cela ne m'aide pas beaucoup.
Il faudrait que l'auteur du composant explique pas à pas (tutoriel) comment faire pour réaliser l'un des exemples fournis.
À défaut, je devrais demander le remboursement parce que je ne parviens pas à utiliser ce produit.

Thank you for this answer but it does not help me much.
The author of the component should explain step by step (tutorial) how to achieve one of the examples provided.
Otherwise, I should ask for a refund because I can not use this product.
I have the set, so I can try - which of those would you like given the step-by-step guide?
Could you please show me tstep by step guide with this model :

Thank you.
I was meaning one of the ones with inset images, but I can have a go ("first find your pose").
OK, that was fairly simple. I apologise for any oddities in the pose - it's for Sydney 8 applied to a basic Genesis 8 Female and I din't tidy it up much.
Loaded and posed the figure, in Simulation Settings I turned off Start from Memorised pose (not always right, but I thought it would avoid getting the scarf tangled with the arms in this case) and, after my first test, I upped the Settlement tiem to 3s nstead of 1 (at 1 second the fabric was still swinging back).
Load the IDG Dynamic Scarf - Large 3 and move it so it's sloped forward of vertical and behind the figure's head, then (in this case) select the Right05 and Left05 bones in turn and bend them roughly ninety degrees forwards (precision isn't needed), then run the simulation. The placement of the scarf and which bones are bent will affect how the scarf falls but the general idea should be clear and it's fairly simple to experiment.
Bonjour,

Hi,
I was able to roughly replicate your example.
However, for my scene, I had to use in addition the component dForce Magnet, which is very well documented (manual of 8 pages and 7 videos in Youtube).
Thank you for your help.
How much tweaking is required will probably depend on the nature of the pose, and on what other elements you want the shawl or scarf to interact with.
I was about to post a question regarding the same. But thank you both! I will try it now.

J'étais sur le point de poster une question sur le même sujet. Mais merci à vous deux! Je vais l'essayer maintenant.
