    You'll have to convert it...

Poser 9 and up has Wardrobe Wizard by PhilC
Evil Innocence has a conversion program (name escapes me at the moment).

I don't know of any others....

EDIT TO ADD: Evil Innocence has Cross Dresser. Both programs convert clothes from one model to another.

    Thanks.

Wardrobe Wizard allows the user to pick and choose which clothes morphs and model morphs you want to put in the item you're converting. Not sure about Cross Dresser as I don't have it. I'm sure someone who uses it can answer.

I don't think Cross dresser loses morphs but I don't know if it supports Genesis.
But Evilinnocence have a sale on today and the licences are $2.49 instead of $9.99.

I you have Poser 8 or better, you already have Wardrobe Wizard. SMS included WW in all versions of Poser 8 and up. You will need to buy the add on packs for WW from PhilC at PhilC.net. Converting to and from a figure in WW requires you to purchase both add ons for the figure you are converting from and converting to. If you buy the Genesis add on, read the insturctions. Genesis requires a bit more work than the standard legacy rigged figures.

XDresser from EI only requires you to purchase the add on for the figure you are converting to.

Like all conversion apps, conversions vary from app to app and clothing item to clothing item. DAZ also sell Clothes Convertor 4 as well. Given that all software is on sale today, you might want to check it's price as well. CC4 does have a learning curve and I have never tried it with a Genesis outfit. It does require an obj file and cr2 which if the outfit.

and for XD4 if you use Krystal Starfox as an intermediate figure you only need the V4 license
(i infact only have the XD3 V4 licenses and used that)

    Just a few facts:

XD4 supports genesis. If you convert from Genesis, you end up with an old style .obj based CR2.

You have to make a choice when converting. Regroup the garment which can give a better fit, but loses morphs. or Don't regroup which will allow you to select the morphs to transfer.

If you want to try it out, XD4, the license for Sara and the actual Sara model are all free. Converting FROM genesis is also free. There are a handful of other free licenses, but most of them are for Poser included characters.

There is, of course, the other option. With GenX you can put the "V4 young male character" on Genesis and use the clothing normally.

If I wasn't so OCD about the human form, I would ... lol. I'm already frustrated with the fact that I can't use a dynamic outfit. ... lol. I'm going to contact the author and see if another style shirt will do. I hate trying to work with non-dynamics as it is.

I wish I could wrap my head around Poser so I could use the dynamic look-alike to this shirt.

I wish I could wrap my head around Poser so I could use the dynamic look-alike to this shirt. That is what GenX does. It imports your shape, and converts it to a Genesis Morph, even on extreme shapes, like GND2 for V3 or GND4 for V4, the morphs are almost indistinguishable from the original. You can, of course, use any Mil 4 Texture on Genesis as well.

Is this for animation or still?

    A book cover ... a still.

Voicing my issues about genesis usually gets me into trouble ... lol. So I'll just say I'm sticking with v4 ... lol.

I'm not happy with the way the shirt poses, anyway. So I'm going to get a refund rather than worry about conversion and use a daz dynamic shirt ... lol.

    Thanks anyway, guys :D
