I want to buy the product Ultra Scatter Pro but I have found like 0 videos on how to use it and it looks complicated.  All I want to do is load a patch of grass then have it sew several of them together, replicating at the edges of each instance to make it look seamless so I can make very large areas. I do NOT want each instance to be randomly placed but touching each other at the borders to create similiar rows. Can/how to do this step by step? I tried the free "Replicate" at Sharecg but it is also random,  Thanks!

Its suppose to be possible, but I've never got it to do it for me.

I would advise you to no longer purchase complicated plugins or software that does not come with complete instructions. Daz has a 30 day return policy open a ticket.

It's quite easy to do using the "Matrix" scatter if you know the exact size of your grass patch - you then setup the matrix parameters to however many patches you want along the x and z axes and set the spacing (sorry if that's not the right name, I'm not on my DS PC at the moment) but it's just below the x/y/z number of repeats on the tab) to exactly the size of your grass patch. e.g. If you have a one metre square plane primitive you would set the spacing to 100 cm in the x and z directions. Press the button and away you go.

I have no idea how to matrix scatter objects whose size I don't know. Maybe try asking on the Commercial thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/264256/ultrascatterpro-v1-0-1-released-commercial/p1

There is a pdf manual included in the product (page 7 of that thread shows where to find it if you haven't found it yet)

ETA: Ah sorry, I've just re-read your initial post and see you haven't actually bought it yet, so the manual will not be accessible. So posting a question on that thread may be the way to go, if you are still interested.

I have not used it much, but it does have a 28 page pdf document.
