Coping skin material
Hi,
I bought Vica HD For Genesis 8 Female with a realistic skin material
Now I have a prop that I want to attach to the model but it needs the same skin color as the model I bought.
I tried copying the material from the model and then paste te material at my prop but that does not work. I am using Daz Studio 4.11
How can I archieve this to give the prop the same skin material as the model?

That's a little tricky - how an image wraps around a model is determined by the model's UV mapping, which for each polygon defines the area of the image it gets. Your prop, if it is UV mapped at all, has a very different mapping to the human. Copy-and-paste alone isn't enought, you need to see which shader is used for the skin (it's listed at top-left of the Surfaces pane Editor tab with a surface selected) and apply that to the model, then copy and paste the surface, then you will probably need to fiddly with the horizontal and vertical tiling and offset settings - with luck soem cm,bination will be usable.
