Poser item with Daz materials

When a prop Poser item comes with Daz materials for Daz users also, where do you put the Daz materials? I use Studio for doing my scenes and have my Daz items in my Daz directory and my Poser items in their own separate runtime.

    That should work, though in many cases theer will be DS materials that load with the item or at least thata pply with the Poser mats - check to see if there is a scroll icon (indicating a companion script) at top-left of the file's thumbnail.

    I didn't see any scroll on the prop's icons in the Poser runtime. But I only unzipped the part of the installation file with the Poser files, and not the accompanying 'Daz4material' folder. The question I was asking is where should this folder go? Do I just put it somewhere in my Daz directory and try to remember it's there when I use the prop?

    Yes, it gets installed like any DS content so if it dosn't place companion files in the Poser files' folder you will have to remember it.
