How do I move Daz off my hard drive and onto an external drive?

I did try searching the help forums last night, but didn't find an answer to my exact question.

I want to put Daz completely on its own external drive - I have a substantial collection of models and even with most of the model library and install packages residing on a 4Tb external drive, my computer's internal 450Gb hard drive is now FULL. As far as I can tell, this is due almost exclusively to Daz data.

So, I want to move Daz completely to its own drive. Can it be done? What's the best way to do it?

    Have you moved the Connect Data Directory? DS itself doesn't generate that much on the application/AppData drive (my C: drive is only 194GB, with 35GB free, despite release and beat DS and numerous other applications)

    I have not. Where do I find it and I will definitely give that a try.

    In Content Directory Manager, from Edit>Preferences>Content tab, then move the Data folder from the old Daz Connect Library to the new one and everything should still work.
