I'm almost ready to get back into it, I just need a bit more help.
I have a copy of my old Database on an external HD. I did get the new DS4, however I’m wondering if all the really old stuff would even be read by the new program. I have a feling I might use both programs, like how I use to use D2 and D3 back in the day.
Also I have a 64 bit system, should I load the 32 or 64 bit versions of Daz 3? My old database was on a 32 bit system.
I also had a few plugins for DS3, I don’t know if that would mess up DS4s ability to read my data. Also if I load my old database into my new laptop will the absence of the plugins mess up the new database in D3? O_O
I’m sorry, I’m just so confused. >_<</p>

If you have DS3 installed, then in DS4 go to Content Library > options menu (rectangle with horizontal lines in the upper corner)
"Import Mapped Directories" will tell DS4 where your DS3 content folders are so you can access them. Older content still works just fine in DS4.
"Migrate Old Content Database" will import your DS3 categories into DS4.
DS3 32-bit and 64-bit share settings, so they both use the same database,
Having DS3 plugins installed in DS3 won't break DS4, although of course some of them haven't been updated to work in DS4.
