I thought there was an old thread for this, but I can't find it now. But I'm super excited that I saw a DAZ set used out in the wild, and in a big way!
Watching Supergirl, season 3 episode 20. At 8:10 in there's a shot of a city, and it's... at least half made up of Stonemason's Utopia Cityscape Blocks! I recognized the building in front, looked it up, and started matching other buildings.
I remember there being a lot of DAZ assets used in early seasons of RWBY, but that's flash animation so I wasn't so surprised. But this... And it looks really good, too.
Anyone spotted other DAZ assets recently?

Nice.
It's from a few months ago, but the Game of Thrones vs Westworld mash-up that went viral on the interwebs was partially made with DAZ. I believe it used a Genesis figure for a character.

..saw this on a newsletter I received:
Looks like a combo of Terragen3, and Ocean Wide with the PW Cargo Ship (retextured)
beeple frequently uses DAZ assets in his work, and I was really happy that he talked about it in his AMA. I think there's probably not enough recognition that creating great artwork out of 3D assets and actually modeling those assets are two different skill sets, and expecting people who want to do one to also prove they can do the other probably discourages a lot of potential artists.
I really liked that!! Love both of those shows and the mashup is incredible. Thanks for sharing!
This guy uses 3D assets in his videos about comic history.

I've already mentioned this in the forums quite some time ago but in 2012 I saw an episode of Sid the Science Kid that used the Toon Generations Mega Bundle
Oh that's cool! :D I love hearing about the history of comics and the fact that he uses Daz3D assets to do it is really cool. I think the hair in the first scene is Heath hair.
Thanks for sharing that...it was very interesting and has tuned me on to another channel I never knew about. Great to see daz characters in there with his dialogue.
...apologies for the thread necromancy but didn't want to start a whole new thread.
I was watching the news tonight and during one story they showed an OpenGL 3D mockup of of a certain recent incident and it appears to be a Daz viewport based on the look of the floor grid.
..ooopsie...
See the Fun Spotting Daz Products Thread.
I see lots of DAZ figures in various television documentaries on YouTube
I see the use of various aliens often.
