There is also a great mix'n'match product called "Mix and Match Hair Pieces" at Rendo. You can change the pieces used, so making diverse ponytails should technically be possible. I think Stalker Girl Hair is a fantastic choice for a fair price.

Valea made a nice sporty braid (no surprise it's called Sporty Braid Hair). But I remember something like Morphing Fantasy Braid at either Rendo or RDNA. It had a lot of options.
