Confused

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

We install things using the DAZ Install Manager. Recently did the 4.11 upgrade but unsure if that has anything to do with this.

Been having lots of trouble with anything to do with my items for The Girl 4 Pro Bundle.

Using the Install Manager to uninstall everything. However I go back into DAZ and they are still there and unsure why. I was going to uninstall and then re-install to see if it would fix anything. 

Not sure what to do.

    Did you refresh Studio in the Content tab? Right click the daz studio format line and choose refresh.

    Since your comment - Yes I have done the refresh. The items are stil there and I can still load them.

    Would love to figure this out. Had lots of problems with this package(s) and thought maybe un-install and re-install would help.

    Went back into the install manager and it did un-install them. Really confused.

    Are you using Smart Content, or the Content Library? (How to tell the difference, apart from the name on the tab -- Smart Content is essentially organized as images; Content Library is a directory of folders.) 

    If you're using Smart Content, that sounds like you may have them installed through Daz Connect, so that a DIM uninstall might not help. Smart Content by preference uses items installed via Daz Connect, I think.

    How do you un-install if you did it with connect?

    That makes it even more confusing :)

    Someone else will need to help with that, I'm afraid. I don't use Smart Content or Daz Connect.

    I think you may be able to right click on a Smart Content icon and pick Uninstall, but I do not know that for certain, so you should wait for someone with more expertise who can help with that.

    Also, note that Smart Content is synced (... sort of) to your actual product library. The icon for purchased products doesn't go away if you uninstall; it just gets a bit dimmer and a download icon appears on top of the product image. If you then click on the product image, Smart Content will immediately reinstall it.

    Decided to uninstall everything and start again
