Recommendations for a new mouse

My generic 3 button mouse feels like it's on its last leg and I was trying to figure out want would be the best replacement.
I was hoping to spend something in the $20 - $40 range.

I'm not sure there's a huge difference for most 3D work. However I would recommend one where you can change the resolution of the sensor (speed). Especially if you're going to do post work and want to paint or do fine detailed work with it. Being able to slow down the mouse when I'm working on small things (like touching up a render) and speed it up for bigger changes (like zooming the viewport) has helped me be less frustrated.
I'm a trackball wierdo, but they tend to cost more. But, JonnyRay said, any name brand mouse should be fine. I'm finicky about how a mouse/trackball feels in my hands, so you might want to handle a new mouse before buying if that matters to you.
I admit this is one thing that I tend to go to Best Buy or some other physical store to buy (or at least try out and buy cheaper online). How it feels in your hand is so personal I don't think any online review can tell you if a mouse will work for YOU or not.
I also use a trackball at work, but I could never get the hang of gaming with a trackball; so went with a mouse at home.
Utechsmart venus mmo mouses are pimp. You don't need to play mmo to take advantage of all those extra side buttons. I got them mapped for stuff in all kinds of apps, PS zbrush etc etc.
