Hi, all! I was just wondering how to make a character shorter. I've searched online for some time without much luck, probably because I don't know what search terms to use. It probably isn't hard at all, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do it. Some help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Which figure, and which morph sets do you have? The Body Morphs usually have something like a Legs Length slider which can be used alone or mixed with the overall Scale slider.
I'm using Genesis 8 Base Female mixed with Vivy. I don't see a Legs Length slider or anything like that.
Actor - full body - real world - height
You can also use scale, but it's not preferred because it scales EVERYTHING down. But you might be able to use slight adjustments to the Y scale of your figure's legs to achieve a shortening effect, if you prefer that to the sort of "crunch" the Height slider uses to acheive shortness.
I don't seem to have a Height slider there, just Bodybuilder, Bodybuilder Details, Bodybuilder Size, Emaciated, and Pear Figure.
Yeah, I did try scale. But the Y scale of the legs is a good idea, I'll give that a go. Thanks!
If you have the Genesis 8 Female Body Morphs package for G8F, you should have the Height slider. It sounds as though you only have the standard morphs that came with the Starter Essentials. If you do have or consider getting the addon morphs package, a note re. use of the height slider: it is limited to a reduction to 5'5" by default - beyond that you will need to remove the limits in the parameters properties.
