a while back i made the mistake of deleting my runtime folders, forgetting to back up any morphs and custom skins i made. my worry is, i have a character i created from scratch off V4 and only saved as a scene. if i load the scene once everything is reinstalled, will it still apply? or am i out of luck?

DAZ Scene files use the 'data' folder to store Geometry and morph details, if you still have it, then your scenes should load.

If you don't still have that folder, then you would need to rebuild the data folder by creating a dummy scene, loading the V4 character and any morphs used, saving it, then try to open your saved scene again. It usually works. The easiest way would be if you still have the data folder through.

What format was it in - .daz, .dsf or .duf? The latter should be OK once you have the content you sued reinstalled.

most of them were done in daz3, so .daz, but i updated some through daz4, so some are .duf
